Visit Petra and Wadi Rum from Tel Aviv/Jerusalem on this incredible two day tour is a great value way to enjoy the highlights of Jordan. the tour begins with a departing from Tel Aviv/ Jerusalem to the Jordanian Border and transferring to Eilat, and head to Petra.
You’ll be blown away and transferred into a different world as you tour the amazing city of Petra, The Petra Archaeological Park (PAP) covers an area within Wadi Musa, which is considered a tourism and archaeological site, and a World Heritage Site registered on the UNESCO World Heritage list since 1985. The area encompasses a breathtaking landscape of pink-hued rock mountains, the focus of which is the amazing ancient Nabataean city of Petra, which was carved into the rock more than 2,000 years ago. A place that time has forgotten and the feats of mankind have been proven by.
Lunch will be in a traditional Arabic restaurant serve, authentic Jordanian delicious local cuisine.
In the evening, you’ll move on Wadi Rum. The moonlike landscape of Wadi Rum is unique in the world. The desert of Rum is dotted with massive mountains, colored in shades of red, yellow, and orange. Their hues spill over to color the sand dunes around the desert and the horizon of its breathtaking panorama.
Experince, the gaze at the star-lit sky by staying overnight in a Bedouin campsite and enjoying the authentic famous hospitality that the desert nomads have to offer. The next morning, after a quick breakfast, you will explore Wadi Rum via a jeep tour. Explore the stunning and mesmerizing desert landscape with a jeep safari tour will breathe light onto this amazing desert.
From there Head back south, you’ll visit Aqaba’s markets, and then free time to relax in Eilat over the border to Eilat. You’ll arrive back in Tel Aviv, with time to check out the city, sunbathe on the beach and grab a meal that evening, having had a two day tour to Petra and Wadi Rum that you’ll never forget.

Transport takes approximately 2 hours, passing through a vast and comfortable deserted highway, following through a scenic route on the mountain side, and arriving at Petra's historical site, known as one of the Seven Wonders Of The World.
12:15 - Enjoy a guided tour of the ‘lost city of Petra’, you will explore the wonders of this ancient city including the Siq, Obelisk Tomb, Calligraphy, Treasury, Jabal Madbach (sacrificial palace), Tombs, Theater, Mountaintop Tombs. Enjoy the horseback riding ((optional) for the first 200 meters of the route. The ride allows you to taste the unique atmosphere of the place (tipping the carrier is required, ranging from $2-$5 at your discretion).
16:15 - Eat Lunch at a local authentic restaurant serve Jordanian style lunch
17:00 - Transport to Wadi Rum.
18:30 - Arrive in Wadi Rum and Spend Overnight in Bedouin campsite in Wadi Rum, check into your tents
*Option to stay in a hotel in Aqaba instead for an additional charge. (hotels in Aqaba available at no extra cost for those who prefer. In winter months we might recommend this option over the Bedouin camp)
19:30 - Dinner and Experince the gaze at the star-lit sky by staying overnight at the camp

07:30 - Morning in the desert.
08:00 - Breakfast at the campsite or in the hotel
10:00 - Jeep Safari tour in Wadi Rum.
12:00 - Back to the camp, and transport back to Aqaba.
13:00 - City tour of Aqaba, and free time in the market for shopping (if time permits).
14:30 - Transport to the border crossing in Aqaba.
15:30 - Transport from the border to Eilat City - Free Time until 20.00 PM
20:00 - Transport from Eilat City to Jerusalem and Tel Aviv
