Day 1

Tel Aviv

Thursday. Airport transfer included. You can rest in your room in hotel or find enjoyment in travelling in vibrant Tel Aviv lovely situated on the Mediterranean shore.

Day 2

Ancient port Jaffa & Tiberias

Tel Aviv — Jaffa — Tiberias. Quite a bit of time on the road to Jaffa and we start walking tour in the scenic fortified town, visit the House of Simon the Tanner, and see admire hilltop views. We continue travelling to north along the sea and come to ancient Caesarea, famous town of antiquity and Megiddo, where many ancient battles took place. Caesarea even referred in the book of Revelation as famous ‘Armageddon’. We investigate ancient ruins here and then continue our trip to historical city Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee. Right here Jesus preached.

Day 3

Sea of Galilee & miracle sites

Tiberias. Today we go to Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ ministry and pristine fishing village. We visit Tabgha, the famous spot where Christ miraculously fed the 5,000, we catch sight of marvelous mosaic on the floor of the Church of Multiplication and then hiking to the Mount of Beatitudes, the place of Jesus’s preach the ‘Sermon on the Mount’. We see delight panoramic views from Golan Heights: severe peaks of Mount Hermon and ideally green Huleh valley beneath.

Day 4

Cana’s miracle & Ancient Nazareth

Tiberias — Jerusalem. Today we stop in Cana to see the Wedding Church. Here Jesus fulfilled his first miracle — make wine from water. We go on to to Nazareth, where Jesus lived during his childhood, and visit Church of Annunciation, Mary’s Well and Joseph’s Church. We travel across the Jordan Valley and get to Beit Shean to see the remained ruins of this conserved Roman city, experienced an earthquake. Our last destination today is Jerusalem.

Day 5

The astonishing Dead Sea

Jerusalem — Dead Sea — Jerusalem. Today our tour lies through wonderful landscapes of Masada, an ancient fortification located on top of a singular rock plateau, in the east of the Judaean Desert, near the Dead Sea. We get up by cable car to see the last citadel of the Jewish Zealots, where they fights against the Romans. We see the excavation again. Today it will be synagogue, bathhouse, and King Herod’s palace. We enjoy the exciting views of the Dead Sea and the Roman camps. Then we visit the Qumran Caves, where were discovered the Dead Sea Scrolls. Here you can swim in the healing salt waters if the weather permit. In any case we stop at the ‘Ahava’ Dead Sea products factory. It makes all kind of scrubs, potions, masks and lotions with natural minerals from the Dead Sea. We return in Jerusalem in the evening.

Days 6-7

Vibrant Jerusalem, Old & New

Day 6, Jerusalem, spectacular and old. Our way begin from amazing panoramic views from Mt. Scopus and then we go to the Mount of Olives (where Jesus first gave the Lord’s Prayer) and down to the Garden of Gethsemane at the foot of this mount, where Jesus spend the night before Jesus’ crucifixion. Now our way lie to Old City with such remarkable sights as the Temple Mount, the Holy Sepulchre, the Western Wall, and Via Dolorosa. Outside the Old City we visit Mount Zion with the Room of the Last Supper in the Mount Zion church and the traditional tomb of King David.

Day 7, New Jerusalem. We starting with giving our respect to the victims of the Holocaust in the official memorial Yad Vashem. After that we go to ancient village Ein Karem, where John the Baptist was born. Today we have time in the Israel Museum (with interesting model of old Jerusalem) and the Shrine of the Book (where you can see the Dead Sea Scrolls). Through the Knesset, national legislature of Israel, and the Hebrew University’s campus we go to Bethlehem, about 10 kilometers to the south from Jerusalem. Here we visit the Church of the Nativity and Rachel’s Tomb within a Muslim cemetery.

Day 8

Jerusalem to Tel Aviv

Thursday. Jerusalem — breakfast. Today we’ll say goodbye to you. Transfer to the airport included.
