Our tour departs early to ensure that we are the first group at the border in order to avoid delays and maximize the amount of time in Petra. Driving north to Petra, we’ll bring you to the amazing UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll enjoy a guided tour of Petra. Petra is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, a Nabatean city that was lost for hundreds of years. In our tour of Petra from Tel Aviv, you’ll explore the famous landmarks and hidden corners of the site, staring in awe at the imposing beauty of man’s construction almost 2,000 years ago. After visiting the site, you’ll head back to Tel Aviv passing by Wadi Rum and the Negev Desert, stopping for a short view of the breathtaking desert landscape. 02:00 – Meet our team in Tel Aviv, transfer by road from Tel Aviv to Eilat through the Negev Desert 07:45 – Arrive in Eilat and transfer to the Arava Border 08:00 – Cross the border into Jordan with full assistance 09:00 – Travel north to Petra through the Jordanian Desert 11:00 – Quick stop for bathrooms, opportunity to purchase snacks/coffee, enjoy a quick view of Mount Haroun 11:30 – Arrive at Petra and experience a guided tour of the site 16:30 – Meet at the exit of Petra and begin the return journey to the border passing by the landscape of Wadi Rum 18:30 – Arrive back to the border 19:30 – Return to Eilat, return transfer to Tel Aviv, road transfer back to Tel Aviv is approximately 4 hours
