Red Line Light Rail Extends to Rishon LeZion – Great News!

Great news for travelers exploring central Israel! Prime Minister Netanyahu recently signed off on an exciting transport project that will extend the Red Line light rail all the way to Rishon LeZion.

This expansion is set to completely transform how you can get around the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. The extended light rail will better connect Rishon LeZion with neighboring cities, making it much easier to hop between destinations without renting a car.

For visitors staying in the Tel Aviv area, this means you’ll soon have a convenient, affordable way to explore more of central Israel’s attractions. Rishon LeZion offers some lovely parks, shopping centers, and is known as one of Israel’s wine regions – definitely worth adding to your itinerary.
