Northern Israel Nature Sites Temporarily Closed Until June 1
Planning a trip to northern Israel? Here’s an important update you’ll want to know about. The Israel Nature and Parks Authority has announced that several popular nature sites and national parks in the north will remain closed until Monday evening, June 1st, following Home Front Command guidelines.
The affected sites include some real gems that many travelers love to visit: the Hula Nature Reserve (famous for bird watching), Tel Dan Nature Reserve (with its beautiful hiking trails), Banias National Park (stunning waterfalls and ancient ruins), Achziv National Park (gorgeous Mediterranean beaches), and Tal Forest.
If you’re planning to visit these areas during your Israel trip, you’ll want to adjust your itinerary accordingly. The good news is that Israel has plenty of incredible alternatives – consider exploring the Galilee’s other attractions or heading to central and southern regions where sites remain open.
We recommend checking with the Israel Nature and Parks Authority website before visiting any nature site during your trip, as situations can change. Your IsraStar guide will also have the latest updates and can suggest fantastic alternative destinations that will make your Israel experience just as memorable.
