Luxury Isrotel Resort Coming to Sea of Galilee in 2027

May 24, 2026

Great news for travelers planning trips to Israel’s beautiful north! Bank Hapoalim is financing a massive new luxury resort project on the northern shores of the Sea of Galilee, with an investment of over 525 million shekels (about $140 million USD).

The new resort will feature around 200 luxury suites and will be operated by Isrotel under their premium Isrotel Exclusive brand. This is the same trusted hotel group behind many of Israel’s top resorts in Eilat and the Dead Sea, so you can expect their signature high standards.

The project is expected to open within three years (around 2027) and is set to become one of the major tourism hubs in the Galilee region. This is fantastic news if you’re planning a trip that combines Israel’s spiritual sites around the Sea of Galilee with luxury accommodations.

The timing couldn’t be better for travelers who want to explore the north – from Nazareth and Capernaum to the stunning Galilee landscapes – while enjoying world-class hospitality. Keep an eye out for opening announcements and early booking opportunities as 2027 approaches!
